 (2) rotate the original image 90 degrees to the left

 (3) rotate only 2 degrees and crop

 (4) Adjust light levels and add contrast

 (5) Add text (Atthens, 94 px)

 (6) Try a filter(Pop, high light, high tone)

    Not bad, Aoi, but I have two comments. In #3, we need to level the horizon line, not the pier. And in #5, a seagull (カモメ) is not a duck.
